Senior Ruby on Rails SW Engineer

This is a Permanent Position with a technology startup in the Midtown area. Excellent opportunity to get into a great company. Really sharp people who only want to talk to the best and brightest Software Engineers. They are a GA Tech shop with solid funding. Currently in a high-growth phase, currently have 30 employees. Located in Midtown. Company has $20 million in funding raised.

 

 

REQUIRED

-         3+ yrs development experience with Ruby on Rails

 

-         Application Development exp with C or Java

 

-         Linux experience: pipeline commands to automate manual tasks

 

-         PostgreSQL: create queries to produce summaries from large databases; multi-table joins and filters

 

-         Experience with internet protocol networks: design and operation in practice

 

 PREFERRED: Python

 

This role will create new solutions for collecting and analyzing large volumes of data from enterprise networks and targeted disruption of network communications. The work will be guided by a combination of customer feedback and technical innovation. Engineer will work locally with a team of 10 or fewer engineers with the guidance of a chief architect.
