Ruby Developer

The position is located in NorthEast Atlanta for a 3 month contract to hire

Must Haves:

-Ruby and PHP experience (course work or work experience) 1-3 years of solid experience
-Strong web technology (HTML, CSS, Javascript) knowledge.
-expereince working with open source projects
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
-Application technology agnostic.
-Must be familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices and procedures
-Must be the type of technologist who applies the right technology for the solution versus forcing a solution through a technology
-The client uses pairing for development and believes in a strong diverse team- must be comfortable working in a pairing environment.
-BS degree in Computer Science or related field from four-year college or university;
- object oriented analysis/design

Day to Day:

Designs, modifies, develops, implements and supports applications.  Must ensure all work is fully covered by tests. Must be familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices and procedures.  Must employ the right technology for the best solution approach.  Must be able to perform a variety of complicated tasks.  May lead and direct the work of others.  Must be a team player and willing to work in a pairing environment.
